Hi everyone, just to let you all know that I have joined and am looking forward to the feedback. Roya or shall I say happy roya.
Hi Roya: I have been thinking about your quote for the first part of your book. Although is is vry clever I think that Oscar Wilde is about as oppostie as you get from the buddist idea of deathless. He was narasistic and very sarsatic. His 'bon mots' are intriguing vecause of his fluidity with the English language but they generally are put downs...like the one where some people cause happiness when they leave. If I was a person in pain who brought your book, because of my fragile state I am more likely to idenify with the latter part of that saying than the former.
What about some metta istead. 'May you be well" for example. See you in class Tuesday. Keep working. e
